Abdolreza Jazayeri, Regional Director of the German DHV Association, began his speech at the meeting by referring to the Memorandum of Understanding between “The Soft Technologies and Cultural Industries Park and the German Brokerage Association, and said: “We must pave the way for companies active in the creative field. Given the presence of Ulrich Maria Baltzer and her background and experiences, we hope to be able to design and implement good plans and programs in areas such as holding training courses, specialized meetings, business cooperation in creative industries, and partnership programs.”

Continuing the meeting, Kamaleddin Ahmadian, CEO of Ramadan KG in Hanover, Germany, referring to his start in Germany in 2015, pointed out: “Although establishing connections with German parties presents challenges, there is still a great potential for cooperation. Especially in the field of knowledge-based companies, many activities in Iran have the potential to be introduced in Germany. We must create specialized bridges of communication by accurately understanding the needs and standards of the German side.”

At the end of his speech, he emphasized the importance of taking specialized training seriously and said: “The most important and first point is to have a clear understanding of the target market; second, relative mastery of the German language and work culture; third, to clearly present the technological advantages of the product or service; and finally, patience and continuous follow-up; because entering these markets takes time, but the results are sustainable.”

In the continuation of this specialized meeting, Ulrich Maria Baltzer presented a report on her activities and programs in various countries, including Germany and Russia.

In response to a question about her view of Iran, she said: “I believe that Iran is a large country with a deep historical background and different Iranian ethnic groups. It is an honor for me to be present and cooperate in Iran.”

In response to the question of how ideas are supported in Germany and if you would like to draw a model for us from an engineering perspective that will help us turn ideas into products or “visions” sooner, he said: “It is a very important question, and of course the answer cannot be found in one sentence or one word. But let me give you an example. In Germany, for example, in three major technical universities, out of 120,000 students, the process of supporting ideas usually starts with translating concepts and training human resources. In other words, you should put the principle in educating your children, and they should put the principle in educating their children. This path will make education progress and the path of development will find its way.”

In this meeting, topics such as sustainable fashion and green diplomacy, job creation for women heads of households and the disadvantaged, creating a common space for green product production between Iran and Germany, the process of idea generation and turning ideas into products in Germany, the process of creative and knowledge-based companies’ presence in global markets, Germany’s experiences in starting a business, and other issues were raised and discussed.

At the end of the meeting, Ulrich Maria Baltzer, Seyyed Abdulreza Jazayeri, and Kamaluddin Ahmadian discussed various topics with managers of creative and knowledge-based companies.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ebrahim Nabiuni and Mahdieh Shahrabi, Deputy Director of Technology and Director of International Relations of the Soft Technologies and Cultural Industries Park, while presenting a report on the activities of this park, said in their speeches: “In this meeting, we are hosting professors and activists who have years of experience in the fields of foreign policy, economics, industry, and academia in Germany. “And today’s meeting is an opportunity to brainstorm and strengthen connections between Iranian technological and creative companies with existing capacities in Germany.”
