Meeting to review areas of joint cooperation between the Soft Technologies and Cultural Industries Park, with the Iranian Ambassador to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation


A meeting to review areas of joint cooperation between the park and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was held virtually on  Saturday ,     20 December 2025  , with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Hossein Imani Khoshkho, Head of the Cultural Industries Park, Dr. Ebrahim Nabiuni, Deputy Director of Technology of the Park, Dr. Mahdieh Shahrabi Farahani, Director of International Cooperation Affairs of the Park, Dr. Mohammad Hassan Sheikholeslami, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Hossein Sheikholeslami, and Dr. Mehdi Attar.

In this meeting, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Imani Khoshkho, referring to the unique features of the park, considered cultural creative industries to be one of Iran’s most important advantages on the path to development and stated: “We hope that from a cultural perspective, more areas of cooperation will be created between Iran and the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.”Iran has a comparative advantage in cultural fields and even an absolute advantage in some areas, and this can be clearly seen in the travel of international tourists to Iran. Culture can undoubtedly enhance Iran’s position in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Continuing, Dr. Mohammad Hassan Sheikholeslami, while introducing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, said: This organization is considered the largest international organization in terms of the number of members in the world after the United Nations, and it has extensive capacities and activities that have provided suitable conditions for joint cooperation and the development of cultural activities.Referring to the “Shajra Tayyiba” exhibition, which will be held on the occasion of the 1,500th anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and at the suggestion of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he considered this event a suitable opportunity to spread Iranian-Islamic culture.

Sheikholeslami also emphasized: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has paid special attention to the field of creative industries and artificial intelligence in recent years, and joint cooperation in these two areas can be developed.

At the end of this meeting, negotiations were held to conclude a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, participate in the development of the educational platform for children and adolescents of the BRICS member countries (BEFMA Association) in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and also to examine other potential capacities with the aim of enhancing the level of joint cooperation
